Burning Man LLC & SPOTS Come to Terms:

A Stop Gap agreement was reached today between Burning Man LLC (BMORG) & SPOTS (Superior Portable Outdoor Tinkle Stations) to allow the Burning Man Festival, scheduled for August 30th - September 6th in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada to proceed. 

Both parties have agreed in principle for SPOTS to provide the event with Portable Sanitation Services.

Inside sources revealed that wording contained in the agreement allows SPOTS the right to file charges against BMORG if violations are found after the event is over.

The 10-year agreement between SPOTS & BMORG expired 6 months ago and both parties are anxious to put this all behind them.

SPOTS based out of Reno, has been providing The Burning Man Festival with Portable Sanitation Services for the past 10 years.  "The festival has grown considerably since we first became involved"

In 1995 there were 4,000 people attending Burning Man, 10 years later, 2003 recorded 30,500 participants.  "As you can imagine we have had to increase our capacity multi-fold to accommodate an every expanding Black Rock City population", says ScottoBobScotto SPOTS CEO & Chairman of the Board.

The Burning Man Festival is held on Bureau of Land Management property (BLM) in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada. 

This baron desolate stretch of hard pan alkali dust  is located 120 miles north of Reno, Nevada. The towns of Empire and Gerlach serve as guardians of the desert region.

Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
